Why is Crani-Yum different than all the other drinks on the market?

We (Brett Claussen & Jamie Stark, founders of Crani-Yum) have nearly a decade of experience in retail nutrition, and as a result, we not only drink energy drinks basically every day - we have spent a ton of time talking to everyday people who also drink energy drinks frequently. What we realized is that most energy drinks on the market currently really don't have a lot to them - just carbonation, caffeine, and flavoring (which many times are way too sweet) - and there is a huge opportunity to build a new type of drink that actually benefits the user's mental clarity and also tastes great.

In February 2023, we came up with the idea to build a new type of energy drink that not only provides caffeine, but also gives the consumer a noticeable and potent boost of mental clarity and focus from a clinical dosage of some of the most potent nootropics on the market today! Oh, and flavors that are unique and classic that people will love!

As a result, the idea for Crani-Yum came about organically. Nootropics have been growing in popularity over the past few years, and we felt that adding a greater element of mental focus to energy drinks would be a welcome change to the energy drink market. So we began experimenting with different dosages of a few well-known nootropics, and we settled on a few that really work well together:

• Alpha-GPC
• Lion's Mane
• L-Theanine

The other ingredients we chose to include for their various health benefits include:

• Ginseng
• Myo-Inositol
• Gingko Biloba

With these ingredients selected, we began working to formulate the flavors for Crani-Yum in early May 2023, and we finalized our first couple flavor formulas in September 2023. The objective of our first couple iconic flavors that are set to launch in December 2023: To create flavors that are dynamic (not just juice with carbonation), nostalgic (reminiscent of flavors that people love but aren't often done in an energy drink), and bold (adventurous and unique, but not overly sweet).
